I feel that the difference between the amount of money spent on the first seven years of life and that on the last should be addressed. The use of aged care facilites as dumping ground for our less than capable citizen to be locked away in and forgotten until they die, always with the promise of the best of care as you are shown to the door has to end. We need a whole new setup a whole new philospphy and structure. Companies are set up primarily to make money not care in the ordinary sense of the word. Why are we so deluded by their promises. It's a business as sure as death and taxes. As a community that is supposedly civilised we should take a good look at ourselves. Newer articles:
