Disheatend by age care and proprietors

You hear it and you see it you even stand up to it. But it still feels like it fall on deaf ears. I'm talking about the private sector as SRS. Yes the Department of Human Services govern them and yes Community Visitors(public advocate) keep watch.

Truly - how many complaints, about cleanliness, cross infection, Quality food control and perishables delivered on the back seat of the car, policies and procedures out of date, medication mix ups, never inservice on fire and evacuation, smoke doors held open with a door wedge, secure building not secure due to smoke door permently open, unrealistic job tasks for pca's, inadequate nursing care because of tasks ie, serving morning tea, processing the facilities washing, towels, face washer, ect like rags thin holes and dont even match, $3 per day estimate per resident for meals these people pay beyond top dollar of $550 PER WEEK MIN.

No entertainment breech of contract the list just goes on and on. Federal Health and Ageing stipulate that it is a State issue. Always pass the Buck. where is the respect and the dignity for our aging.

What criteria do these proprietors have to pass prior opening an SRS?
