The Warley Aged Care Home at Phillip Island has been handed over to the non-profit organisation, Aged and Community Care Victoria (ACCV). The home was closed down last year because of financial problems. Talks with Mercy Aged Care failed to reach an agreement for a takeover. The ACCV has now inherited the Warley Buildings and land and is in talks with the Warlee Trustees to take over ownership. The organisation will now start a consultation process with the local community over the facility's future. Source: ABC News Newer articles:
