"The best good news stories are right under our noses..." "I heard a touching story recently about staff at a nursing home on the South Coast who decided to take their elderly charges on a three-day Pacific cruise. In came the potted palms and deck chairs, up went the port holes and island posters, out came the sunscreen, hats, Hawaiian shirts and muu-muus. They played boules, cards and snakes and ladders, watched movies such as South Pacific and Miss Saigon, and received a running commentary about the exotic places their virtual ship was visiting.
