I have two parents in aged care and am shocked by what I witness on a near daily basis.

I am currently putting issues through the complaints system but feel quite cynical about there being any changes.
I read yesterday's Age headline about abuse of animals in zoos and would like to point the papers towards our aged 'care' facilities.
I shudder every time I hear an ad for an aged care facility on the air as it reminds me of the one I hear when put on hold at the facility my parents reside in - meaningless words.
